
At Key People we use our own technical tests to determine quickly the competence of a candidate in any particular area. Currently more than 60 tests are available, with another 30 under development. They can be carried out over the Net or at a client or KP location and take about an hour to complete.
Each test contains 50 questions, each with a rating of basic, intermediate or advanced. The score achieved is then broken down showing the number of basic, intermediate and advanced questions answered correctly. A position is also given in comparison to everybody else who has ever taken the test, effectively benchmarking candidates against their contemporaries. A report is then produced and either e-mailed or passed to the client.
Not only do these tests help clients recruit for a technical position with greater confidence, but they also give candidates a way of checking their skill level in comparison to others working in a similar area.
